The world is still mourning the death of legendary designer, Virgil Abloh, who passed just last week from cancer. Art Basel Miami served as his unofficial ceremony of life as there were memorials everywhere for Virgil. Most notably at the Louis Vuitton show, which featured his last collection for the luxury fashion house. For Baque’s latest drop, he will be donating all proceeds from the Awake NY x ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer 21 to Virgil’s “POST-MODERN” Scholarship Fund.
Awake NY brings their refined taste to the ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer 21. The upper has a grey mesh base with eggshell-colored suede overlays. The midsole has a unique design with air units that peek through the solid foam. The ASICS vector is crafted with TPU and acts as an eyestay for the laces. The upper heel has small hints of orange and teal, making for a chic final touch.
