This “Sage” ASICS GEL-Lyte III Shouts Out to Y2K

Along with this “White” and “Sienna” colorway, ASICS has also dropped a “Sage”-indebted GEL-Lyte III as part of its “Y2K” collection.

Originally designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1990, this ASICS GEL-Lyte III “White/Sage” features its OG shape and tooling such as its iconic split tongue and GEL-equipped midsole. White mesh is used to construct the base, while silver metallic is seen on the leather and suede overlays. Rounding out the final details are the “Sage” hits found on the lacestays and profile vector logos.
