To celebrate the shoe’s 30th anniversary, ASICS Tiger has chosen to retro the original GEL-Lyte for the first time since its initial release in 1987. This OG model is releasing with two of the style’s original colorways: the men’s featuring the white, black, and orange blocking, while the women’s version displays a white, blue, and yellow makeup.
Select pairs of the silhouette will be available with the original GEL-Lyte shoe box, also including a custom pin set, a fan zine, and Skimpy 9.9 socks, which references the midsole’s incorporation of 9.9 ounces of the brand’s GEL technology.
The ASICS GEL-Lyte releases on July 7 at ASICS Tiger retailers. However, only select shops like The Good Will Out will receive pairs that include the 30th anniversary packaging.
