The Air Jordan XX2 is a basketball shoe – make no mistake.
This was somewhat of an odd find, but definitely something unique. So far Nice Kicks has posted up 3 colorways of the upcoming Air Jordan XX2. We were pretty sure we would see at least one colorway to have some shade of blue, but we were not thinking we would find these. Our friend shared these pics with us of the Air Jordan 22 with a basketball leather upper. If this releases to the public, it will be a first for Air Jordans. In the past there was a Jordan sample shoe with an all basketball leather upper, but it was never released.
The shoes feature Michael Jordan’s signature on the back of the shoe as well as “Official Game Shoe.” No release date yet, but I am still wondering if this is made of traditional basketball material or the “slip-and-slide” type David Stern had the NBA use for the first half of this season.
The release date for the “Basketball Leather” Air Jordan XX2 is February 17, 2007 which just so happens to be Michael Jordan’s birthday! Nice Kicks will continue to deliver all of the release dates for new Jordan releases.
