Jordan Brand is set to unleash one of its bigger releases of the year in the form of the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 9 Retro White/Black-University Blue at the end of this week. However, while we impatiently await its arrival, photos of a similar Air Jordan 9 Retro have surfaced on the web to our surprise.
As stated earlier, this Air Jordan 9 Retro features a colorway that is very similar to May 29th’s release; yet, the actual colorways are featured in a different way. For example, university blue nubuck appears throughout the midfoot, toe area and heel panel, while a patent leather strip completes the base. Other attributes include a white midsole/outsole, a university blue tongue and a black inner lining. This particular sneaker potentially continues the long list of Air Jordan 9 Retros that will release this year including the “Citrus” Air Jordan 9s, the white/citrus-deep forest Air Jordan 9s and the re-release of the white/black-red Air Jordan 9s. How does this pair rank amongst the previously-mentioned Air Jordan 9s? No word on when this shoe will release; however, view more photos below.
