With an enormous fanbase filled with basketball enthusiasts, China has become one of the major hubs of Jordan Brand consumption. Having walked through the streets of large metropolitan cities like Shanghai and Guangzhou, it’s a frequent sight to see Jordan Retro sneakers being worn by many. In honor of the country’s love for hoops, the brand is set to release the Air Jordan 7 “Greater China” soon.
Perhaps the most distinguishing features of this Chinese-inspired rendition are seen through its graphics and colors. Patterns reminiscent of a dragon’s scales are seen throughout the mid-paneling, which are sketched in with a mixture of greens, oranges, whites, and blues. These same scales are also placed in muted fashion, seen etched into the leather overlays. Sitting atop a multi-colored midsole, this design-filled sneaker looks to be a must-cop for all Air Jordan 7 fans.
