This year has been the Air Jordan 5. We have seen the return of favorite colorways, such as the “Grape”, and the introduction of new ones, such as the “Black Grape”. Today, we get our first look at the Air Jordan 5 “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. For those that do not remember, Will Smith was well known for rocking Air Jordans and other dope sneakers on the classic television series entitled Fresh Prince of Bel Air. As the title character, Smith was also known for his flashy outfits that were indicative of the style in the ‘90s.
The Air Jordan 5 Fresh Prince of Bel Air looks to pay homage to that era by accenting a grey base with purple, pink, and a lime green hits on the midsole. The “23” branding is stitched in lime green on the lateral heel portion, which matches the lime green Jumpan symbol on the tongue. The colorful shoe is balanced with black laces, upper eyelets, and black on the upper portion of the tongue, before the colorful theme reappears on the printed inner lining.
