The Air Jordan 5 is celebrating 30 years of excellence as the silhouette has been at the forefront of collabs, colorways and customs through the last three decades. While the AJ5 “Fire Red” was teed up for the green, we finally get the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” this spring in all of its glory.
With its metallic tongue with a reflective coat paired with the lace lock system (the first time used on a Jordan model), the pair was yet another innovation from Tinker Hatfield and his creative brain that wouldn’t settle for anything short of perfection. As hits of red and black hit the primarily white shoe, this pair is going to be perfect for the warmer weather.
The pair secretly dropped on SNKRS ahead of Episode 1 of “The Last Dance” on April 19. A wider rollout of the colorway is slated for May 2 on SNKRS, Champs Sports and select retailers. Take a closer look at the upcoming pair below.
