WNBA star and Jordan Brand athlete Satou Sabally was the first to give fans a sneak peek at the Air Jordan 36 and with the newest Air Jordan being officially unveiled, we get an official look at the “First Light” colorway dropping in a few weeks.

The colorway is inspired by ultraviolet rays, as the Air Jordan 36 looks to the future and celebrates the bright young stars that make the game radiant on the court. The Jacquard Leno-Weave upper comes in Black and Hyper Violet made to be breathable and provide a lightweight fit. Black microfiber is utilized around the collar with a TPU ribbon to stabilized the weaved upper. The Jumpman branding is seen on the forefoot tongue pouch with Bright Mango accenting utilized on the heel pull tab.

The Phylon midsole is seen in white with metallic Hyper Violet accenting and uses a full-length Zoom Air Strobel setup with another Zoom Air unit used on the forefoot for extra impact protection without sacrificing responsiveness. The stabilizing shank comes in black with it hollowed out to reduce weight yet still provide rigidity, and a multidirectional outsole is seen in Bright Mango to finish off the sneaker.

The Air Jordan 36 “First Light” is set to drop on Nike.com and at select retailers on September 24th with an MSRP of $185. Check out the official images below and for all things Jordan Brand, check out our Jordan Release Dates page.
