In celebration of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, and the shoe’s earliest design that never was, later this month Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker Hatfield” in honor of the designer’s early sketches of the iconic shoe.
Largely adored as it features a Swoosh on the 1988 produced shoe, Tinker’s elder sketch comes to life in this heritage-based release. Of course, Hatfield worked with Justin Timberlake to release a pair of his own, which dropped during Super Bowl 52 where Timberlake performed at halftime.
The Air Jordan 3 “Tinker Hatfield” will launch on March 24 via Nike SNKRS at 10am EST. The shoe is priced at $200. Retailers will also release this sneaker relic. They will be announced at a later time.
