First Look // Olympic Games Inspired Air Jordan 3 Set for Summer

Even though the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games have been postponed, Jordan Brand still looks to pay homage to Japan’s most famous city. Adding to the summer lineup, the Air Jordan 3 SE “Tokyo” looks to be one of the best colorways in recent history. This pair could potentially release alongside the Air Jordan 1 “Tokyo”.

This special edition of Michael Jordan’s third signature sneaker is largely inspired by Tokyo’s heritage and culture. The white leather upper is contrasted by the red found on Japan’s flag, which covers the sock liner, the lace eyelets, and the midsole. Additionally, the red is placed over the elephant print. Hits of black will likely be present on the heel Jumpman logo. Capping off the design, the sneaker is placed atop a crisp white midsole and outsole.

While the Olympics have been postponed, hopefully this sneaker isn’t either. The Air Jordan 3 SE “Tokyo” is still expected to release in Summer 2020 for a price of $200. Look for it release through select Nike retailers. Let us know how you feel about this Olympic Games inspired sneaker in the comments below.
