Oregon’s Air Jordans have been the talk of the sneaker world lately, with more and more speculation surrounding their background, release and availability hitting the internet grapevine each day. The Oregon Pit Crew, Matt Knight Arena’s resident rowdies, were gifted this black limited edition Air Jordan 3 in very small numbers for the die-hard hoops fans that show up to watch the Ducks play on the most awesome court in college basketball. The group has not only revealed this colorway in its entirety, it’s teased us with a bit of release information. As it turns out, 10 pairs will be given away at Matt Knight Madness, when Oregon starts it season at midnight, October 15th. More pairs will be available throughout the year to students as the season progresses. Many of us had our fingers crossed for a wider release, but unfortunately, it looks like you’ll need a student ID, loads of fan dedication and lots of luck to end up with a pair. Expect more details on the white pair to surface soon.
