In our Kicks on Court feature, the Air Jordan 16.5 has appeared on the feet of plenty Jordan Brand hoopers. However, Jordan Brand’s relationships extend beyond the “L”. One such relationship is that between the Brand and His Airness’ alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The latest product between the two esteemed institutions is this UNC PE of the Air Jordan 16.5. This color-up sports a predominately white upper and the University’s iconic “Carolina Blue” is utilized for accenting. Materially, the shoe boasts pebbled leather, a patent leather toe cap, an icy outsole, and stitching on the tongue that emblazons the shoe with the school’s insignia.
