Chris Paul started taking remote classes at Winston-Salem State University back in 2020 and the Winston-Salem native attended his graduation at the HBCU. Of course, being one of the faces of Jordan Brand meant that he was gifted an Air Jordan 1 Low OG PE for his graduation which he rocked the sneaker as he picked up his diploma over the weekend.
The sneaker takes on the Chicago colorway with the exception of a black tongue instead of white and red suede used on the heeltab. Premium leather is used throughout with a letterman jacket inspired W is seen on the lateral heel for CP3’s now alma mater. A graphic of a WSSU’s Ram is seen on the left tongue and on the right insole with Nike Air branding seen on the inverse. Lastly, a white midsole and red outsole finish off the sneaker.
