Nike has big things in store for the upcoming Lunar New Year. In addition to the multicolored Nike SB Dunk and other silhouettes, a special Air Jordan 1 Low looks to hop in the frey.
This low-cut iteration perfectly combines the classic colors of Black and University Red with cultural Chinese graphics and other forms of embroidery. The gold tassel brings the silhouette’s heritage and symbolism together. Jordan Brand’s contribution will arrive in a unique “CNY” themed Air Jordan 1 box.
While there is no official word yet on the pair, look for the Air Jordan 1 Low “Chinese New Year” to debut in February on Nike.com. Expect the pair to be highly limited.
UPDATE: Nike US has stated that there has not been a US release date announced for the celebratory pair.
