Teddy Santis pulls from the archives for the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier. This hiking boot returns with the best of the best as it features textiles from leaders in the outdoor gear space such as GORE-TEX, CORDURA, and Vibram.
First looks of ALD’s New Balance Rainier reveals that two colorways are planned for the release. Both the brown and blue iterations are crafted with premium suede and weatherproof canvas. The swift New Balance logo is embossed on the side of the boot, as well as on the leather tongue tag. The eyestay is adorned with hook eyelets for a classic hiking boot design element. The top of the ankle collar features an suede overlays that sits atop fine leather. Each boot is finished with white statement stitching and a black Vibram midsole.
