AFROPUNK Takes adidas to New Heights with their Triple Platforum

Black-Owned business and music festival AFROPUNK teams up with adidas to create the Triple Platforum. A play on words, the Triple Platforum uses the adidas Forum Hi to create an elevated sneaker that encourages you to be yourself unapologetically.

Known for breaking boundaries and shaking tables, AFROPUNK created the “Live the F@%k Out Loud” campaign to highlight the Triple Platforum. The campaign features iconic black creatives like JunglePussy, Antoni Bumba, and Marsha Elle. The sneaker takes inspiration from AFROPUNK’s black & white aesthetic that honors their non-conforming punk spirit. The upper is made with a high-gloss black leather and an extended white heel counter. The sneaker sits atop a triple platform midsole that gives the shoe a versatile look, balancing between a sneaker and a boot. Further elevating the adidas Forum Hi, the sneaker opts for a leather buckle across the laces, rather than the traditional velcro strap.
