The adidas ZX 5K BOOST “ZX 6000” Shouts out to the OG

For the latest ZX 5K BOOST offering, adidas is turning to an OG ZX 6000-inspired colorway for inspiration.

This forthcoming adidas ZX 5K BOOST “ZX 6000” features a very similar outfit to the 1989 release, including a like-for-like cream ribbed nylon and suede upper, red inner liners, and aqua-green Three Stripes ribbon overlay. Below, more homages to the original are seen via the yellow midsole casing, black outsole, and the hit of aqua. What’s new to this 2022 release are the mesh overlays, while aqua tongues and a red heel tab round out the final design cues.
