With Pride Month only a few weeks away, German giant adidas is once again celebrating the LGBTQ community with a new batch of rainbow-injected footwear.
First up in the range is a tactfully reworked, special edition adidas UltraBOOST 5.0 DNA that incorporates a patchwork of rainbow hues on its Primeknit upper circling the shoe’s base, heels, and tongue tab. Along with celebrating love, the sustainable silhouette is additionally made from part Parley Ocean Plastic as the Three Stripes focuses on lowering its carbon footprint.
In terms of branding, a “Love Unites” motif appears on the tongue tabs, heel label, and insoles. The model is then finished off with a signature BOOST midsole and rubber outsole.
Look for the adidas UltraBOOST 5.0 DNA “Pride” to release on May 15 via select retailers and adidas.com for $180.
