The adidas Ultra Boost line shocked the world when it made its inaugural appearance in 2015. The Ultra Boost line at its core was centered around performance with the brand’s innovative Boost technology. For the past 5 years, the Ultra Boost line has become an integral part of sneaker culture and athleisure as the model and its ultra-comfortable technology dominated streetwear.
While the silhouette still holds its value in the overlap of fashion and sneakers, adidas is going back to the UB’s roots with a more performance engineered design with the upcoming adidas Ultra Boost 21.
The shoe still features the components from across the line with the implementation of the knit upper, a translucent cage, and a pattern near the forefoot that mirrors the OG. And if you didn’t notice, a heavy amount of Boost makes its way to the heel for added support and comfort. The extra Boost gives the UB 21 a unique shape that looks marathon ready.
