No doubt about it, Dwight Howard is supernatural, so it’s only fitting that he gets such a name added to the TS Commander line. If you recall the last time we saw these, Dwight will sport these adidas on Christmas Day against the Celtics, and now we get a look at the details of this Superman-inspired sneaker. This pair is obviously an ode to Dwight’s cape from past NBA Dunk Contests, and hopefully an upcoming challenge against LeBron James in 2010. The upper is printed to represent the night’s sky, while yellow and red straps protect the midfoot. The Chinese characters on the tongue have been translated for us to read “Magic Beast,” and other details we missed last round include the 12 stitched on the inner side and the signature near the heel. No exact date for when these will release, but expect them around the beginning of 2010. |
