adidas Originals is expanding its recent eco-friendly Stan Smith PRIMEGREEN range. Just like the model that was shared yesterday, this adidas Stan Smith is also crafted from high-performance recycled materials to stay inline with the label’s sustainability initiatives.
Just like its name suggests, the adidas Stan Smith PRIMEGREEN is constructed out of PRIMEGREEN, a sustainable material that does not contain any virgin plastic. Instead of its usual leather base, polyester is used while a premium PU coating sourced from Japan helps to mimic the sneaker’s original leather feeling.
Unlike the other pair, this sneaker only boasts playful designs on its heels. Accenting the rear are colorful icons such as flowers, raindrops, and a globe along with adidas’ signature Trefoil insignia. Final details include a pink Stan Smith tag on the tongue tabs along with the PRIMEGREEN motif stamped onto the insoles.
