On August 1st, adidas will look to revolutionize running shoes with their new Springblade. On July 29th, the official commercial for the new technology will debut on ESPN, Adult Swim, and Comedy Central. The adidas Springblade features a 16-blade sole that attempts to increase energy return and propel runners forward. In this 30-second slot that will give the general public (or those who are missing out by not consistently browsing Nice Kicks) their first look at the adidas Springblade, the technology is mysteriously unveiled and the sneaker is shown in action.
