The 2012 Olympics is happening at the peak of social media. These games have been the most social games to date with fans and athlete tweeting back and forth at an alarming rate. Taking that into account, adidas teamed with shoe designer NASH Money to spruce up a pair of adidas Barricade tennis shoes (renamed the adiPower Barricade) to invent the Social Media Shoe. Take a look a the video and pictures below to see just how NASH Money essentially turns a shoe into a phone, making it possible for fans to tweet athletes while they are playing. As of now, this is a one-off concept shoe, but do you think we will see something similar at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil?
