For the first time ever, Montreal-based skateboarding company Dime teams up with adidas Skateboarding to release a collaborative footwear and apparel collection. Together, adidas Skateboarding and Dime aim to create a collection that is authentic and representative of the skateboarding communities throughout the world at large. The adidas Superstar ADV by Dime is the star of the collection, but an iconic adidas Tracksuit will be releasing as well.
Some of the biggest names in skateboarding are sure to be rocking the new collection as Team Three-Stripes boasts skaters like Mark Gonzales, Dennis Busenitz, Tyshawn Jones, Lucas Puig, and Nora Vasconcellos; and the Dime crew features local Montreal legends like Phil Lavoie and Vincent Tsang.
Coming in colorways of “Carbon/Brown” and “White/Wonder White,” Dime modernizes a heritage adidas model with enhanced skate performance features brought to life on the adidas Superstar ADV by Dime.
Using the iconic “Shell-Toe” structure, Dime reimagines the adidas Superstar with a full grain leather upper and patent adidas Three-Stripes. A waved design goes across the Three-Stripes, with metallic Gold co-branded text on the sides. The sneaker is complete with a debossed tonal restoration graphic on the tongue, a 70% smoked translucent rubber outsole, and the signature rubber shell toe.
It’s both humbling and an incredible honor to have partnered with a global and respected brand like adidas Skateboarding for this collection.
We had full access to their deep catalog and resources that opened our world to endless artistic possibilities. The adidas team made the creative process fun and easy for us while honoring our values as a brand.

To complement the adidas Superstar ADV, Dime also created the Superfire Tracksuit. Offered in “Black” and “Magic Grey,” the tracksuit is made with recycled polyester and cotton, and features embroidered co-branding details. The suit has a vintage feel with a classic yet loose cut and is complete with the wave design that was seen on the sneakers, as well as the tonal restoration graphic.
The Dime x adidas Skateboarding Collection will be available for purchase exclusively on dimemtl.com on May 13, 2023. Then, on May 15th, the collection will be available worldwide via adidas.com, the CONFIRMED app, and select skate retailers. The Superstar ADV by Dime retails for $100. Prices for the apparel range between $85-$100.
