adidas Football continues to dominate the intersection of performance and technology. The latest development takes place on the football pitch. The adidas PREDATOR FREAK updates its groundbreaking and eye-catching DEMONSKIN.
The upper on the latest boot is covered by DEMONSKIN spikes with 360° coverage. DEMONSKIN, which was introduced last season, is created by a layer of rubber spikes (calibrated by a computer algorithm) laid in a formation that aligns to key contact points with the ball.
In addition to that, elite player feedback guided the adidas product creation team to extended the coverage of spikes for the 2021 design. In doing so, the latest boot enables superior control and increases ball swerve.
From first wear, I knew adidas had created something special with their DEMONSKIN material.
As soon as I touched the ball, I really felt a difference in the way my foot connected. I’m happy my experience with it so far has impacted the new PREDATOR design.
