After a wildly successful retro of the first colorway of the adidas Originals Mutombo, now the classic model is returning in a new style code. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Dikembe’s signature sneaker since the 1992-93 season, adidas Originals will release a black/white-purple colorway that pays tribute to the blocking machine’s days with the Denver Nuggets. Using Mutombo’s iconic African patterns and shield logo, along with his 55 jersey number, this edition is composed of nubuck with leather and canvas overlays. A black base is accompanied by white accents and purple detailing.
