A second original colorway of the iconic adidas Mutombo is on its way. Honoring the 20th anniversary of the silhouette, which was first released during the 1992-93 NBA season, this third overall re-launch revisits the classic style code. Not as flashy as Mt. Mutombo’s finger waving shot blocking, this SKU is set in plain black and white. A nubuck black base houses leather and canvas overlaying materials, which include an African-inspired weave pattern. The traditional African patterns that represent Dikembe’s roots are used throughout the model, most notably on the iconic shield logo that incorporates his jersey number.
