Over the past year or so, adidas has been incredibly successful joining brand heritage with modern-day technology. Much of this is evident in their modernizing of the EQT line. Today, though, we highlight a entirely new silhouette, one inspired by decades past but set to thrive in current day.
The adidas Iniki Runner, which lands in stores this weekend, sees its upper outfitted in two-way stretch mesh fabrication with suede overlaying the toe, lace collar and heel counter. Traditional three stripes branding marks the paneling for added nostalgia, while a contemporary presence is fortified thanks to Boost cushioning. A sporty gum outer resides below.
Expect the adidas Iniki Runner to debut in red and navy colorways this Friday, January 13, at select adidas Originals retailers.
