Adidas is opening a new Chicago flagship store early next month. The shop is nestled within the city’s Wicker Park neighborhood, one of its most desired and centralized areas. To honor this occasion, the brand with the three stripes is releasing a special edition EQT Support ADV.
In what will be adidas Originals’ largest retail space worldwide, the adidas EQT Support ADV “Wicker Park” will launch in conjunction with the store opening on October 5. The shoe takes design inspiration from the community itself starting with the “Wicker Park Label” found at the shoe’s tongue. Further, a blue stripe on the label symbolizes North Milwaukee Avenue, not only where the store is located, but a subtle nod the Chicago Blue Line transit system. This limited edition shoe will be scaled to just 350 pairs, only 300 of which will be for sale with the remainder being gifted to adidas friends and family.
