Damian Lillard and adidas debuted the adidas Dame 7 EXT/PLY with the “Damenosis” colorway and this time it he broke out the “Rip City On They Ass” colorway of the EXT/PLY.
Lillard has said that the Dame 7 EXT/PLY will be inspired by Dame D.O.L.L.A., his musical persona, and with this rendition it pays homage to Blazers fans and pioneer rap group N.W.A. Rip City On They Ass has been a rallying cry for Blazers fans and players alike and Dame taps into that for this edition of the Dame 7 EXT/PLY
The initialism of “R.C.O.T.A.” in the font similarly used by N.W.A. is seen on the lateral toe overlay with the adidas signature 3 stripes seen towards the back. A red heel that gradients into white makes up the upper and a bar code with D.O.L.L.A. EXT/PLY can be seen on the medial side. The Lightstrike midsole also has the gradient and a speckled clear outsole is used for traction.
Like the “Damenosis”, there’s no release info or price yet for the adidas Dame 7 EXT/PLY “Rip City On They Ass” but there’s sure to be more renditions of the EXT/PLY that Lillard will wear for the reason of the regular season and into the playoffs.
