No need to reset your clock, Dame Time is here. Today in Portland, Oregon, adidas officially unveiled the D Lillard 1. The first signature shoe for Portland Trailblazers point guard Damian Lillard sees a low top, sockliner driven silo cater to Dame’s signature step back move and fast paced game.
A multilayer design makes the most of adidas’ marquee technology, honing TECHFIT lockdown and adiPrene+ cushioning seen on many of the models worn by Dame over his tenure with the Three Stripes. Personal nods to Dame appear most notably on his new logo featured on the heel, which pays homage to not only his initials but also his Fly Guyz crew and #0 which represents his hometown of Oakland, college career in Ogden and current playing place of Oregon. In addition to that, the name Dame graces the tongue, while lines from his famous #4BarFriday series stamp the insoles.
Team ties come in the form of a “Rip City” colorway leads off the launch, displaying the Blazers’ black and red tones in fierce fashion. 3M hits, midsole speckling and camo detailing cap off the “Rip City” adidas D Lillard 1, slated to launch on February 6th for $105 at adidas and Foot Locker.
