Rookie Kobe Bryant Worn adidas Crazy 97 EQT Set To Release

adidas is set to re-release the adidas Crazy 1 in “Sunshine” and the “Stormtrooper” colorway next year and the adidas Crazy 97 EQT is also on that list.

Originally called the adidas EQT Elevation, the Crazy 97 EQT is most notably known for being the sneaker a rookie Kobe Bryant wore in the 1997 Slam Dunk contest in Cleveland. The Crazy 97 EQT uses Feet You Wear technology, which is designed to mimic your foot anatomically with curves and shape of the foot, using a wide, low to the ground base and rounded off edges to prevent ankles from turning over.

The adidas Crazy 97 EQT is set to drop during the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend which is taking place in Cleveland, the same place where he wore the sneaker and won the dunk contest. No pricing or set date is known at the moment, but stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page when we know more.
