With SXSW now in full effect in Austin, Texas, interactive panels fill each day with insight, new technology, and inventive aspirations for the future. adidas‘ Jon Wexler brought his knowledge and profoundness to SXSW and dropped a few gems regarding future Three Stripes advancements.
One of the many gems was plans to implement NFC technology into their sneakers, apparel, and sports equipment. Of course currently utilized in smartphones – among other things – this will allow all adidas products to collect data through a wealth of touch points.
