Adidas continues to show its dominance in the running game. Having invented some of the best tech known today, such as BOOST, the Three Stripes now pushing things forward with its newest running silhouette, the Adidas Adizero Prime X 2 Strung.

The upcoming Adidas Adizero Prime X 2 Strung is a cutting-edge running shoe designed to provide exceptional performance for athletes seeking speed, support, and advanced technology. This model builds upon the success of its predecessor and incorporates innovative features to enhance the running experience.

In fact, the pair is so jammed packed with tech, it’s not allowed in elite races! The purpose-built racing shoe boasts a re-engineered midsole and two carbon-infused plates surrounded by three layers of LIGHTSTRIKE PRO. For the upper, Adidas’ proprietary Strung knitting technology creates a precise fit, exceptional breathability, and targeted support zones, on top of being lightweight and adaptive.

Although illegal for elite racing, the Adidas Adizero Prime X 2 Strung is permitted for ambitious runners aiming to smash their personal bests and is equipped with a stack height of 50 mm. Due to race regulations, shoes can only have a maximum stack height of 40 mm.

Without the confines of the usual rules, we had space to unleash the full creative capabilities of our product design team. This meant we could create a shoe that pushes the limits of what’s possible for running footwear. The insights we obtained through in-depth athlete testing resulted in a shoe with stability, more spring in the fore- and midfoot and an enhanced fit.  We are excited to reveal more exciting innovations in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more to come!”
