Chinese boutique/brand ACU has teamed up with Li-Ning on the tenth iteration of the Way of Wade 10 taking inspired from Chinese folklore about being a scholar.
The upper features design features that are laser engraved which are inspired by the story of Kui Xing and Ao Tou that emphasize the importance of studying and achieving good grades. Wade’s WOW logo is seen on the tongue and on the lateral heel with “WADE” engraved on the lace overlay. A carbon fiber shank plate is implemented in the midsole for stability and rigidity with full-length BENG cushioning used for impact protection with a maroon radial outsole finishing off the sneaker. In addition, a special package design for this special occasion with individually numbered tongue tags stitched behind the tongue.
