ACRONYM‘s Errolson Hugh has long been a fixture in streetwear and the sneaker community for his design brilliance and culture shifting ideas. So when it came time for Nike to celebration another anniversary campaign for the Air Force 1 through the AF100 Collection, Hugh (among others) was tasked to redefine a classic white-on-white AF1 Low.
The outcome is both synonymous with his past Swoosh collaborations and the modernizing of the shoe as a whole. He opted for the Lunar Force 1 – a bringback of a collaboration he did back in 2013 – this time in all-white with zipped construction running alongside the lace collar. This progressive take on the classic design is heightened by Lunarlon cushioning while also maneuvering a mixed material upper from forefoot to heel.
