One after another, this week has been stacked with previews for Fall/Winter 2022. BAPE joins the party revealing its sub-label’s offerings with the AAPE x Dr. Martens 1461 Collaboration.
AAPE is pretty much BAPE’s cool younger brother and these Dr. Martens 1461s are a testament to its youthful spirit. Coming in colorways of Olive and Black, the low cut boots have rebellious motifs reminiscent of teenage angst. The premium leather toebox is embossed with ambiguous text that reads, “SOMEWHERE IN THE AAPE UNIVERSE.” This is placed underneath the AAPE face and can be seen as you look down at your feet. Another nod to the AAPE Universe is seen on the back of the heel tab. Classic Doc finishes complete the boots such as the stacked Black midsole, iconic yellow stitching, and signature pull tab.
