Doernbecher x Jordan Brand releases are, of course, nothing new for the “Doernbecher” line. First teaming up in 2007, Nike and the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital created the Freestyle Program, where patients from the hospital receive the chance to design special editions of iconic Nike and Jordan Brand models.
Since 2007, we’ve seen at least one “Doernbecher” Air Jordan release every year, including a recent re-release.
