Run DMC x Adidas
Run DMC was the first Rap Act in the history of the Grammy Awards to receive a nomination. They paved the way for all the artists on our list, in both the music industry, and sneaker game. Back in the mid 80’s they teamed up with Adidas to help design the “Cadillac” series, which featured kicks named after the hottest Caddy’s of the day, the Brougham, and the Fleetwood.
