BAIT has teamed up with adidas Originals and the Japanese superhero series One Punch Man using the Montreal 76 sneaker with the design inspired by the show’s protagonist, Saitama.
The sneaker uses a canyon gold suede upper with red accenting on the 3 Stripes, heeltab, tongue, and laces which mimics Saitama’s superhero costume. The tongue logo features co-branding of BAIT and adidas alongside Saitama’s stonefaced look. Co-branding is seen again on the heeltab, with adidas’ Trefoil on the left heel and a sketch of Saitama’s face and BAIT branding on the right. The gold foil branding of BAIT alongside Japanese script is featured on the lateral side. The white midsole has an exaggerated heel counter which features “ONE PUNCH MAN” printed on the back and the insoles feature the same tongue logo and Saitama’s manga form.
The BAIT x One Punch Man x adidas Originals Montreal 76 will drop on June 30th via raffle on BAIT’s webstore and FCFS in-store at BAIT stores in the States with an MSRP of $120.
