The list of stars at the 25th anniversary party for the Nike Air Force 1 was nearly endless. Just to name a few, Spike Lee, Jadakiss, Jeezy, Ciarra, Rasheed Wallace, Paul Pierce, Q. Rich, Bobbito, Bun B, Patrick Ewing, Queen Latifah, the list could go on forever.
The main event of the night happened when hip hop legends KRS-One and Rakim took the stage with Chi-towns greatest Kanye West and NYC’s own Nas. For nearly 40 minutes they performed. DJ Clark Kent took control of the tunes for most of the night making this a real life example of how the sneaker culture was born and why the Air Force Ones are still the hottest sneakers released each year.
No one could have put together a better blend of hip hop and sneakers. Truly an unforgettable night.
