“James Harden, Swaggy P running up the budget!”

Uh, oh. Call it a victory lap, call it a diss track or call it the exclamation point on a major 2015, but Kanye West just dropped his first single in months with “FACTS.” Very literally in all caps, this track sees chest beating braggadocio and plenty of shots fired, offering the final chapter in the three-part saga of the 2013 Yeezus-era media run and exit from Nike, 2014 move to adidas and 2015 launch of Yeezy season. Subsequently, this will certainly be the start of much more.

Borrowing the cadence and chorus style of Drake and Future’s “Jumpman,” the Southside and Metro Boomin track sees Kanye in “HAM” mode, bending to the Atlanta sound and talking that talk.
