Drawing inspiration from the silhouette that their athletes wore to the podium in the 1972 Olympic Games, adidas Originals introduces a brand new design that modernizes the SL line. The new adidas SL Loop Runner pays homage to the SL 72 that was seen in Munich with the iconic T-toe and sculpted concave midsole, updated with lightweight upper materials. The most notable feature in the design comes in the form of serrated stripes, which peel up to form the eye stays. Get a look at all four debut colorways below, and get a pair for yourself when they release later this summer in July for $75 at select adidas Originals retailers.
