Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, hanon shop has teamed with Reebok to create a celebratory, special edition sneaker. The hanon x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary is one of many collaborative efforts to commemorate the long tenure of the ageless model. The shoe is draped in colors that pay homage to the popular boutique’s hometown. Cream-colored pigskin suede plays the lead role, and is accented by dark yellow on the toecap and heel counter. The heel counter is stamped with subtle branding. A Reebok Classics symbol is seen on the right heel, and the hanon shop emblem is present on the left. Vivid red leather on the heel tab features embossed “Reebok” wording. Co-branding is seen on labels of the same color stitched onto the tongue. One final detail comes in the form of the tonal leopard printed inner lining that honors the Aberdeen Coat of Arms. The joint effort is finished with a cream colored midsole, and black and red on the outsole. The hanon x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary will hit select retailers in the coming weeks.
