In town in Austin for SXSW? Nice Kicks has an impressive schedule of events lined for up for this week. We kick things off tomorrow with our collaborative “Welcome to Austin” party, featuring displays by the capitol city’s finest boutiques. We cap things off with the launch of our first ever apparel collaboration. In the meantime, hip-hop legends Bun B and Young Guru will be in the shop for respective events.
Nice Kicks x Complete Clothing x Fast Folks x No Comply “Welcome to Austin”
Nice Kicks has teamed up with Austin’s premier boutiques to welcome you to Austin. Complete Clothing, Fast Folks Cycles and No Comply Skateboarding will all be on hand, displaying the best of their respective stock. Locals DJ Premier and Kydd will both perform, Budweiser will be providing free beer and Xyience will be giving away drinks, as well. Come check out the best shops in town all at one spot: Nice Kicks.

Bobby and Ben Hundreds will be stopping Nice Kicks on Friday, March 18th as a part of The Hundreds’ Third Coast Tour. The founders of one of the most prolific brands in streetwear are going to hang out with fans, sign autographs and give away tons of gear. Young Guru Performance + Q&A Session
Ever wanted to sit in on a Jay-Z recording session? This is about as close as you’re going to get. Young Guru, recording engineer and past tour DJ for Hov will be in the shop for a couple of hours, getting Thursday afternoon going with a bang. First, he’ll play a set and then there will be a question and answer session. Come prepared with some good queries for man with plenty of stories to tell.

The Trill OG’s birthday is this weekend, and he chose to spend the day with his friends and fans at the shop. Bun B will be hanging out at the shop from 7 to 10, so come down and wish Uncle Bun a happy birthday. We’ll have free drinks and DJs all night and also be celebrating some big days of our own.

Nice Kicks 5-1 Party
Friday isn’t just for celebrating Bun B’s birthday, it’s for celebrating our own. We’re celebrating the fifth anniversary of NiceKicks.com and the Nice Kicks Shop turning one year old. Four of Austin’s best DJs (Mike Swing, DJ Protege, DJ Dontizl and DJ Hella Yella) will be performing all night, there will be plenty of giveaways and of course, free beer.
