Shake James x adidas Samba “View Finder” Celebrates Milwaukee for 414 Day

adidas is tapping back in with Milwaukee’s own Eric “Shake” James for a special 414 Day release that brings purpose and storytelling to a classic. The Shake James x adidas 414 Day Samba “View Finder” reimagines the iconic indoor silhouette through Shake’s creative lens, turning the sneaker into a tribute to the city that shaped him.

Rooted in Milwaukee’s geography and culture, the design pulls from aerial views of the city’s north and south sides, blending storytelling with subtle detail. A soft cream upper nods to the city’s “Cream City” nickname, while thoughtful hits throughout the shoe highlight directional elements tied to the north, south, east, and west sides. The standout viewfinder graphic on the tongue ties it all together, reinforcing the idea of perspective and capturing moments through Shake’s point of view.

Beyond the sneaker itself, this release carries real community impact. Developed alongside “Visit Milwaukee” and “Summerfest”, each purchase comes with complimentary tickets to Summerfest 2026, giving wearers a direct connection to the city’s culture. The drop also coincides with 414 Day, Milwaukee’s annual celebration of local pride, and will be supported by a series of community activations including youth workshops and in-store experiences powered by adidas Cornerstone Community and Shake’s JAY Academy.

The Shake James x adidas 414 Day Samba “View Finder” will be available exclusively at Sneex’s, Milwaukee and online at Sneex3rdWard.com starting April 11, 2026 for $140.
