Nike is exploring its more mischievous and audacious side with the latest release of the Nike Blazer Mid Jumbo “Voodoo.” Despite the Blazer Mid being one of Nike’s more subtle silhouettes, the brand explores new themes and colorways headed into the new year and has chosen the Blazer Mid as its vessel. This latest release is the second offering from the “Voodoo” series. So far, the pack consists of another Blazer and an Air Max Pre-Day.
The offering takes inspiration from mainstream media’s portrayal of love and its connection with voodoo. Like its depiction of the dolls, the silhouette features mismatched material atop its upper with enlarged Nike Checks on each side. Key details include exposed stitching throughout its base, stitched in buttons, and even a creepy little doll rocking Nike’s.
