We are four days away from one of the biggest retro releases of 2011 in the form of the Black/Cement Air Jordan 3. Originally released in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement has retroed three times (1994, 2001, 2008), and the fourth retro release will take place on Black Friday. Although it is pretty much the same shoe as the 2008 Countdown Pack version, there are a few minute differences our Nice Kicks staff noticed after examining the two closely. Perforations

If you examine the tongue closely, you will see that the 2008 version of the “Black Cement” Air Jordan 3 possesses smaller perforations than those seen on the upcoming 2011 pair. The perforations are more compacted and closer to one another, whereas on the 2011 version, the perforations are noticeably bigger and spaced out.
