Nike Zoom LeBron VI “Taxi”

Date Released: February 2009

Taylor Gang Gab: The Nike Zoom LeBron VI “Taxi ” kicks off our You Know What It Is: The Top 16 Black & Yellow Kicks feature. LeBron James has stated, time after time, that New York is his favorite city. Therefore, Nike drew inspiration from the car you see most often in the Big Apple for this special colorway of LBJ’s sixth signature model. In addition to the black and yellow color scheme, Nike incorporated a grey checkerboard-like design much like the strip seen on the sides of taxi cars. This is one of many New York inspired sneakers for LeBron with the others being the “Big Apple” and “New York Yankees” Nike Zoom LeBron VI plus more.
